Artist Statement
Along the edge of a waking moment lies a fragment of a dream; a sliver of a memory. Half forgotten moments and nocturnal wanderings intertwine and tangle. Real or imagined, perhaps the best aspects of both, these after thoughts are revealed on my canvas. Some bold and distinct, others a whisper trace; each is an important element in balancing the whole. My paintings give voice to the often unspoken reminiscences and nighttime reveries. Recalling these impressions give us a glimpse of our past and a glimmer of who we might yet become.
